![]() ![]() The games themselves are the objects of complaint. Nobody has attacked the site for hosting free games. "These nice people spend the money on this site to be able to give you something for free and all you can do is put them down and step all over their generosity." How would you like it if a restaurant only seved corn? The point is to get the site to offer a more diverse selection. "I’ve seen a lot of games here that have been offered at other multi-game sites with a demo to download or option to purchase, but here you get them free. The two groups have completely different value systems, and the majority of independant games are intended for the latter(because the company can "skin" a game and sell both versions as seperate games). A "casual gamer" only cares about a game's feel and atmosphere, and doesn't think twice about paying money for two clones of the same game. ![]() A "true gamer" judges games based on gameplay and innovation, and dislikes clones. That phrase refers to "true gamers" as opposed to "casual gamers". "What was meant by “true gamers” anyway? Someone who truly plays games? Well that would describe anyone who ever played a game, now wouldn’t it?" "Complainers" don't care that they're not paying for what they get - they don't like that there hasn't been anything but "games are not the type like". No, but we'd like to see some shooters for a change. ![]() You don’t really expect to get any major, name-brand, hard-core games here do you?" "So what if these games are not the type you like, they are given away for FREE. How many days have "all those complaining" had to wait for something besides, as vilulf put it, "lame brick busters, match three’s, and 25 year old game concepts"? Well over a month and a half. If you don’t like the games offered here, wait until the next day’s offer or go somewhere else." ![]()
